The Way Foundation’s Mission for Nevada

At The Way Foundation, we are committed to serving underprivileged youth, homeless teens, single-parent households and recovering addicts by providing financial & spiritual support, counseling, and resources.

What Your Support Go Towards

Every donation—whether goods, services, or funds—directly supports The Way Foundation’s mission to empower Nevada’s youth. Your contributions help provide "Way Bags" with essential items, mentorship through our youth programs, and self-sufficiency grants for families in need. We also urgently need a facility to store donations, park our bus, and serve as a safe, welcoming headquarters for mentorship.

The community of Nevada needs your help. Through both statistics and our personal experiences, we have found Nevada to be highly underserved in the areas listed below:

Nevada has the highest rate of homeless youth in the nation, making it #1 in the country for homeless children.

We provide resources, mentorship, and support to help homeless youth rebuild their lives and create a path toward stability and independence.

39% of all Nevada children live in a single-parent household and almost 50% of all births in 2020 were by single mothers.

We empower single parents through financial assistance, emotional support, and access to community resources that strengthen the family unit.

1 of 50 people from ages 12 and up use Methamphetamine in Nevada, making it the state with the highest rate of meth usage in the country.

We offer prevention programs, family support, and recovery resources to break the cycle of addiction and restore hope in affected communities.

Most adolescents who enter the justice system have suffered from parental abandonment, substance abuse, or a dysfunctional household.

We mentor and support at-risk youth with guidance, counseling, and life skills that lead them away from the justice system and toward a brighter future.
